Lawrence of Arabia Plaque at Snowdon Lodge in Porthmadog
Thomas Edward Lawrence (Lawrence of Arabia) was born in Snowdon Lodge (Tŷ Lawrence), Tremadog, on 16th August 1888. He gained notoriety leading an Arab rebellion against the Ottoman Empire during the First World War.
